30 west broad street

Completion: 2022
Size: 56,000 sqft
Category: Mixed-use | Landmark Building | SHPO Funded

Built in 1872, Rochester’s original City Hall was used as a jail and courthouse; law firms and a restaurant occupied the building until 2020, when 43 North received approval to convert the six floors of space to three floors of commercial, and three floors of rental units [30 apartments]. Materials and lighting respect the art-nouveau architecture, and per the position of the building, the North, South, East and West units showcase sunlight-complementing finishes.
