The Chenango County Board of Supervisors is undertaking the 5 Court Street Project in order to make the Chenango County Office Building:

• Accessible/ADA Compliant and Navigable by the Public

• Cyber-secure of confidential and personal information

• Cost-Effective by Reducing Costly, Repetitive Repairs

• Energy Efficient to Reduce Skyrocketing Utility Costs with Added Capacity

• Environmentally Friendly by Eliminating Environmental Hazards

• Enhanced Private Spaces to Protect Confidentiality

Floors are designated with coordinated color themes; earth-tones for the ground floor, greens for the second floor, and blues on the third floor. The themes inform the use of paint colors, FF&E, flooring, signage, wallcoverings, as well as acoustical treatments.  As part of the community outreach, multi-room presentation materials and finish boards were created for the open house.
